2001 Pierce Saber Heavy Rescue
Rescue 56 is the primary rescue for Orwigsburg Borough, sections of West and East Brunswick Township as well as North and South Manheim Township.
This piece has a six man enclosed cab with a walk-a-round box. The cab has 5 air packs for interior fighting and special rescue situations. R56 is dispatched for a multitude of calls including but not limited to car accidents, search and rescue, high angle rescue, commercial structure fires, and special requests.
Equipped with:
- Holmatro Rescue Systems that includes Pentheon 27′ SPreader & O-cutter as well as a hydraulic 27″ & 32″ spreaders, O-cutter, Large/Medium/Small rams and a pneumatic air bag system.
