Tuesday, December 29, 2009 - At 3:30 a.m., with the temperature hovering around 17 degrees and the wind chill driving it down to around 10 degrees, OFD was dispatched along with Co. 42 Deer Lake, Co. 39 Auburn and Co. 47 Landingville to a reported barn fire on Green Tree Drive in W. Brunswick Township.  For the second time in two days, first arriving units were confronted with a fully involved barn fire which was being fanned by strong wind gusts.  Chief 42 (Strouse) had the command.  A 2nd alarm and a tanker task force were also dispatched.  Multiple handlines and Ladder 725 were placed in service to control the blaze.  OFD cleared the scene at 6:30 a.m.
