Bensalem paramedic Daniel McIntosh responded to a call of a suicidal man out on the 2600 block of Knights Road. When he and his partner arrived, the young man fled on foot.

McIntosh chased him but didn't get very far. He suffered a massive heart attack and died on the scene.  It was originally reported that the Paramedic was attacked by the patient, but this is not what happened.

The OFD would like to extend it deepest sympathies to Paramedic McIntosh's family and Bensalem EMS.
